A scratch card forces two grandmas, Amparo and Luz Divina, to reconsider their way of life. “El Mal Fario” tells a story about courage, the passage of time and releasing fear.

Co-written and directed with Alvaro Briones, this short film arose as a way to showcase ‘Jurdeles’, an award winning flamenco dress collection by Jose Juan Hurtado, but has since grown into this beautiful piece full of laughter, nostalgia and hope. Shot in the beautiful village of Arahal and in Seville, “El Mal Fario” is currently in the editing suite and we hope to be able to show it to you soon.
